This is a gem of a book. It’s full of real emotion and had me in tears in several places. The story of adopted baby Robyn is written with so much empathy. What I liked more than anything was the clever way the story develops to include details of the other characters lives. So many books I have read recently concentrate just on one or two main characters but this one extends it’s reach to the entire family! A story about so many types of love – man and woman, mother and daughter, father and his need to protect his little girl even when she is 30, sibling love and, of course, the love that exists between good friends. I just loved it!
